Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teaching Certification, including Adaptive Certification (required)
• Experience working with elementary-aged students in a special education setting
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Strong organizational abilities to manage caseload documentation, IEPs, and progress tracking
• Dedication to creating a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored instruction and interventions to students with diverse learning needs in an onsite, elementary-age caseload
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, related service providers, and families to ensure cohesive support
• Adapt curriculum and instructional methods to foster student growth and achievement
• Collect and analyze data to measure student progress and modify goals where needed
• Maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
• Support students' social-emotional development and self-advocacy
