Travel RN – Emergency Department

Location

Denver, CO | Emergency Department (Freestanding ED)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Shift times vary between Mid Shift (1:00 PM – 1:00 AM) and Night Shift

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an 11-bed freestanding emergency department with a 1:4 patient ratio
• Perform EKGs, IV placement, and medication administration
• Assist with conscious sedation and wound care procedures
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, paramedics, radiology techs, and security staff across mid and night shifts
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
• Maintain a positive, flexible, and team-oriented approach in a fast-paced ED environment

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of current Emergency Department RN experience
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• PALS certification required
• TNCC certification required
• ENPC certification required (PALS accepted in lieu of ENPC)
• CPI Blue Card required
• Ability to work mid-shift and/or night shift as assigned

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience as an ER Charge RN
• Willingness and ability to float between ED departments
• Familiarity with GE monitors and Baxter infusion pumps
