Registered Nurse
Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 year of acute care experience required License: Active nursing license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Experience with arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, central line care/management, and starting and maintaining IVs. Knowledge in the interpretation of arterial blood gases and dysrhythmias. Ability to manage cardiac and vasoactive drips without titration.
Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit. This position requires night shifts. The nurse will provide specialized care to patients with complex needs. Responsibilities include monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals. Candidates should have experience in managing critical care situations and interventions. Floating to similar units may be required as per facility needs. Teamwork and effective communication skills are essential in this role. Consideration will be given to first-time travelers who meet experience requirements. A weekend commitment is expected based on unit needs.
