Patient Access Rep / Check-In Desk

Abilene Sports Medicine and Orthopedics

Description Patient Access Representative / Check-in Desk Join our healthcare team as a Patient Access Representative / Check-in, where you will play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for patients as they begin their visit. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to high‑quality patient care and support our commitment to excellent service. Key Responsibilities: Greet patients warmly and verify their appointment details upon arrival Collect and update patient information, including insurance and personal data Assist patients with completing necessary forms and documentation Manage patient check‑in processes efficiently using electronic health record systems Coordinate with medical staff to ensure timely patient flow Address patient inquiries and provide guidance on clinic procedures Maintain confidentiality and adheJob Titlere to healthcare privacy regulations Skills and Qualifications: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems preferred Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion Customer service‑oriented mindset High school diploma or equivalent; additional healthcare‑related certifications are a plus Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast‑paced environment #J-18808-Ljbffr Abilene Sports Medicine and Orthopedics
