PCU/Medsurg Registered Nurse (RN)This position is for a 13-week contract in a Medical-Surgical/Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting. The role requires the ability to work every other weekend and holiday, with no block scheduling available.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the PCU/Medsurg environment.Perform assessments, develop nursing care plans, and monitor patient progress.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes.Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.QualificationsCurrent and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.Experience in a PCU/Medsurg setting preferred.Work ScheduleThe schedule includes evening shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with rotation for weekends and holidays as required.Client Details State PA
