Part-Time On-site Clinic - Sturgeon Bay 323 S 18th Ave Sturgeon Bay, WI 54235, USA Pay or shift range: $18.21 USD to $35.32 USD The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
Description
The Medical Assistant (MA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide professional nursing or medical assistant care under supervision or scope of licensure for clinic patients.
- Room patients, perform and document vital signs and patient backgrounds.
- Coordinate provider schedules and appointments, enter orders and prepare patient charts.
- Instruct patients and families as directed within scope of licensure or certification.
- Prepare patients and assist medical providers with in-office procedures and prepare and administer medications/immunizations.
- Maintain exam rooms and equipment to be within infection control standards.
- Ensure appropriate levels of medical supplies for each patient room.
Qualifications: BLS Certification Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers from approved program. (Can be obtained on the job).
Medical Assistant: Certified as a Medical Assistant, or Registered Medical Assistant through an approved accreditor preferred, however can train on the job.
Licensed Practical Nurse: Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing. Valid Practical Nursing license in the state of WI through an approved accreditor.
Shift: Casual Call means you work as needed. This position would work in various departments in the clinic (Orthopedics, Family/Internal Medicine, Podiatry, Pediatrics, or Women's Health)
Casual Call positions are offered an additional 10% differential on top of the base hourly rate.
Education
Required
High School or better.
Preferred
Associates or better in Nursing or related field. General Education Diploma or better.
