Wiginton Fire Systems, a leader in fire protection, is seeking motivated individuals to train as Fire Sprinkler Apprentices in our Miami (Medley) location. While all are welcome to apply, experience in construction or related hands-on trades is highly valued and will be prioritized in the selection process. You'll be mentored by experienced technicians as you learn to service, repair, and install fire sprinkler systems and other vital fire protection equipment. Responsibilities include assisting with on-site service calls, developing troubleshooting abilities, and learning proper documentation procedures. Requirements: Education: High school diploma or equivalent. License: Valid driver’s license. Physical Requirements: Comfortable working at heights, working outside, and the ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds Background Check: Ability to pass a background screening. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of materials, tools, equipment, and installation procedures. Problem-solving: Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills. Customer Service: Strong communication and customer service abilities. Certifications: Willingness to go through apprenticeship school as well as state or national certifications.
