This position requires a commitment to providing critical care and support to patients in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:\n \n Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the Medical/Surgical Intensive Care Unit (MICU). \n Monitor and interpret telemetry strips. \n Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including attendings and residents, who are present in the ICU 24/7. \n Float to Medical/Surgical units as needed, managing up to 4 or 5 patients. \n Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record system (EPIC). \n Qualifications:\n \n Active Massachusetts RN License. \n 2 years of continuous experience in a Medical/Surgical ICU setting. \n Current BLS and ACLS certification. \n Telemetry competency is required. \n Work Schedule:\n \n 36 or 48 hours per week, with night shift availability and every other weekend required. \n Floating to other units is a requirement of this position. \n \n Patient Population: The MICU cares for a diverse range of adult patients with various complex conditions, including but not limited to substance abuse, severe psychiatric disorders, diabetes complications, sepsis, gastrointestinal bleeding, respiratory failure, cardiac arrest, renal failure, and cardiogenic shock. \n Join us in delivering exceptional care to our patients in a supportive and dynamic environment. \n \n Wellspring Nurse Source Job ID 37828575.
