Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery

Night shifts, 3x12-hour (18:45 - 07:15). Weekend requirements include 4-5 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period, defined as Friday and Saturday night for night shift and Saturday and Sunday for day shift, plus a minimum obligation to work 2 Sunday night shifts and 2 Friday day shifts per 6-week schedule.

Contract length is 13 weeks with guaranteed 3 shifts per week. Vendor personnel are required to be on-call for 2 shifts per 6-week schedule period. Clinicians may float to the postpartum unit to provide couplet care or care for postpartum patients.

3 years of nursing experience required. Current BLS, FHM, and NRP certifications are mandatory. Experience with both antepartum and intrapartum patients is preferred. Ability to triage obstetrical patients and perform necessary assessments. Experience with fetal monitoring technologies and emergency protocols.

Provide direct patient care for labor and delivery, including post-operative care for C-section patients. Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs, utilizing appropriate technologies. Assist during labor, delivery, and postpartum phases, including management of complications. Support breastfeeding and provide maternity education to patients and families. Participate in rapid response and code team efforts when necessary.

No more than 7 days of requested time off are allowed. Home address must be at least 75 miles from the facility for locality consideration. Pending licenses are accepted.
