Compensation: Starting at $40.00 per hour + overtime

What your day could look like

You arrive on site, review the plan with the project and electrical engineers, and map out the day’s priorities for your crew. Before a wrench turns, you complete and verify LOTO procedures. With a small team of journeymen and apprentices, you dismantle aging power distribution equipment, swap out worn components, and reassemble everything to spec—then shift to installing new conduit runs and mounting controls.

In this role, you will

• Carry out assignments from electrical/project engineers and site superintendents
• Create task plans and coordinate execution with journeymen and apprentices
• Perform and validate Lock-out/Tag-out (LOTO) on electrical sources
• Lead disassembly of power distribution equipment; replace defective or failed components; reassemble and test
• Develop project-level material lists and relay needs to purchasing
• Stage tools and materials from in-house stock and external suppliers
• Measure, cut, and bend EMT; thread rigid conduit
• Field-fit and install Unistrut frames/hangers, cable tray, and conduit
• Complete manual and mechanically assisted wire pulls and terminations
• Trace and label power and control wiring prior to equipment removal
• Install and mount panels, disconnects, junction boxes, and motors
• Mentor journeymen, sign apprentice hours, and oversee overall work quality
• Maintain tools/equipment and keep parts and supplies organized
• Handle other routine jobsite tasks as directed by site leadership

• 100% travel nationwide
• Reliable, well-maintained vehicle suitable for interstate travel
• Own and maintain a basic hand tool kit (including wrenches and sockets)
• Willing to work nights, weekends, variable schedules, and extra hours as needed

What you bring

• Mastery of electrical theory and related math; deep knowledge of three-phase power and industrial wiring methods
• Commitment to codes, standards, and best practices
• Problem-solving mindset, critical thinking, and lead-by-example approach
• Experience operating aerial lifts, forklifts, and other powered equipment

Background & credentials

• High school diploma or GED
• Electrical trade school completion and a current Master Electrician license
• 15+ years in the electrical trade, with 10+ years in industrial environments

Core proficiencies

• Conduit bending, including pipe up to 4" with pipe benders
• Electrical theory application in industrial settings
• Safe, code-compliant installation of distribution and controls
• Use of trade tools and equipment maintenance
