School Psychologist

Responsibilities • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and reevaluations to assist in determining student eligibility for special education and related services. • Administer, score, interpret, and report results from appropriate assessments, including cognitive, academic, adaptive, and social-emotional measures. • Prepare clear and compliant written evaluation reports and participate in eligibility, Individualized Education Program (IEP), and multidisciplinary team meetings. • Collaborate with parents/guardians, teachers, administrators, and related service providers to identify student needs and support appropriate educational programming. • Coordinate assigned evaluations and maintain accurate records and documentation within required timelines. • Ensure compliance with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), Section 504, applicable Utah requirements, and District policies and procedures. • Serve as District Section 504 Coordinator, including supporting eligibility determinations, accommodation plans, records, and procedural compliance, when assigned. Qualifications Required Qualifications • Master's degree in School Psychology; current Utah Special Education Eligibility Evaluator certification or endorsement; or another District-approved Utah credential authorizing the applicant to perform assigned evaluation and eligibility duties. • Knowledge of psychoeducational evaluation, special education eligibility procedures, the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), and Section 504 requirements. • Ability to administer and interpret appropriate assessments and prepare accurate written evaluation reports. • Strong organizational, communication, collaboration, and confidentiality skills. • Ability to meet required timelines and maintain accurate student records and documentation. Preferred Qualifications • Master's degree in School Psychology with appropriate Utah authorization to serve as a School Psychologist. • Current Special Education Eligibility Evaluator endorsement or equivalent authorization. • Experience conducting student evaluations and participating in special education eligibility determinations in a public school setting. • Experience supporting Section 504 procedures. Description Job Description Millard School District is seeking a qualified School Psychologist to conduct student evaluations, support eligibility determinations, collaborate with educational teams and families, and assist the District in meeting applicable special education and Section 504 requirements.
