OVERVIEW

The Sales Professional is directly responsible for selling new and used vehicles at dealership gross profit, volume and customer satisfaction standards. The Sales Professional will realize the business is built on customer satisfaction, customer retention and devote him/herself to guaranteeing satisfaction to the customers. A successful candidate for the Sales Professional position with have prior experience in customer service and sales. Automotive experience isn’t necessary. We provide world-class training and mentoring to enable your success! Do you make what you're worth? This could be your year! The Sales Professional has a HUGE earning potential. This 100% commission-based opportunity is designed for motivated, driven professionals who want their income to reflect their performance. With no cap on earnings, the more you achieve, the more you can earn! Many sales people make $65k and more in their very first year, and the sky is the limit after that.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Attend daily sales meetings during scheduled days. Keep abreast of new products, features, accessories, etc. and their benefits to customers. Report to Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews and analyses. Review and analyze actions at end of each day, week, month and year to determine how to better utilize time and plans more effectively. Understand the terminology of the automobile business and keep abreast of technological changes in the product. Attend classes and take certain tests throughout the year to maintain training certification. Know and understand equity and values, and be able to explain depreciation to the customer. Ability to sell a minimum quota according to dealership standards.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license and good driving record. Positive attitude. Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information. Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills. Strong organizational, decision making and problem-solving skills.

WORKING CONDITIONS

The Sales Professional will stand and move throughout the dealership facility (lot, showroom, service and parts department and offices) for most of the shift. Will spend time outdoors showing vehicles to prospective customers and to drive vehicles in traffic during test drives. Evening, some holidays and weekend work hours are required.
