Platform Engineer - Round Rock, TX (Hybrid)

Platform Engineer Location: Round Rock, TX (Hybrid) Duration: 12 Months Start Date – ASAP Rate – DOE US Citizen and Green Card can apply for this role, No third party corp to corp. Must Have Skills Overall, 7 years of experience in platform maintenance and administration activities Minimum 3 years of experience in Docker and Kubernetes and know how to deploy, configure, and maintain applications. 3-4 years administration working knowledge of networking, Server, NAS, Linux and command-line, regular expressions, and REST APIs. Good Experience in managing Database like SQL Server, Oracle, Mongo Good administration skills in managing complex application infrastructure. Good troubleshooting skills and load Monitoring, catering to Ad-hoc Load Requests, failure recovery Experience in configuring implementing DEV Ops CICD using Gitlab etc. for an application with multiple technologies. Solving tickets and working with the Dev/support teams to help them completing the projects on time. Should have knowledge on upgrade activities. Experience in on-prem as well as Cloud Data platforms Experience in DR / Backup. Desirable Skills Knowledge of Data Governance Tools like BigID, Manta, Alation, Informatica Data Quality. Administration of Informatica Server, User Administration. Involving DBA/Support teams if needed to work together and fix the issues quickly. Profile backup for maintaining safety & adding the new entries during new installations. Staffing the Universe
