Software Engineer

As a Software Engineer, you will help evolve a mission‑critical MRI software platform built on a modern, microservices‑based architecture. Your work will contribute directly to improving patient experiences and enabling clinicians to deliver high‑quality care. This role supports SIGNA™ One, our AI‑driven workflow platform designed to simplify MRI—from planning and setup through scanning and beyond. SIGNA One enables faster scans, reduces complexity, and promotes a patient‑first experience through intelligent automation. Key Responsibilities Participate in technical discussions and design sessions, contributing ideas and learning from peers. Help translate product requirements into practical technical solutions for assigned components. Build and grow your understanding of assigned modules, including dependencies and data flows. Develop features, enhancements, and bug fixes aligned with established architecture and coding practices. Support implementation of interfaces and data exchange between system components. Apply standard testing practices, including unit and integration testing, to ensure code quality. Participate in code reviews, giving and receiving feedback to strengthen solutions and team collaboration. Identify and address routine performance or reliability issues within your scope of work. Collaborate with Product Line Leaders and cross‑functional partners to clarify requirements and deliver outcomes. Contribute to documentation and team knowledge sharing to support collective success. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related STEM field. At least 2 years of experience in software development. Preferred Qualifications Experience with frontend development (Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS). Experience building software on Windows and/or Unix/Linux environments. Familiarity with Java/JEE, Spring Boot or Spring frameworks, and API tools such as Swagger/OpenAPI. Exposure to modern development and CI/CD tools (e.g., Git, Docker, Jenkins, Gradle/Maven, BDD/Cucumber, Artifactory).
