Machine Saw Operator

Location: Coppell, TX

Pay Rate: $18.00hr - $19.00hr

Are you an experienced Machine Saw Operator who takes pride in accuracy and craftsmanship? Summit Staffing for 1st and 2nd shift to work in a fast-paced woodworking and manufacturing environment in Coppell, TX. This is a contract-to-hire role with opportunities to grow and work with cutting-edge equipment.

Shift:

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM - Monday - Friday

• 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM - Monday – Friday

What You’ll Do:

• Operate TigerStop, panel, or automated saw equipment to cut materials to exact specifications

• Read and follow blueprints, job sheets, and cutting plans

• Set up, adjust, and perform minor maintenance on machinery

• Measure and inspect materials for accuracy and quality

• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient workspace

• Follow all safety protocols while operating machinery

What We’re Looking For:

• 1+ year operating panel saws, or similar wooden saw machinery

• Ability to read measurements, cutting specifications, and technical drawings

• Mechanical aptitude and experience with hand/power tools

• Strong attention to detail and quality

• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently

Preferred:

• Experience in woodworking, manufacturing, or panel cutting

• Familiarity with production workflows and material optimization

Work Environment:

• Manufacturing and woodworking shop setting

• Standing and operating machinery throughout your shift

• Lifting materials up to 50 lbs

• Required PPE: steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection

• Exposure to wood dust and production materials
