• Tampa, FL 33607 (Floating Role Across Tampa and Surrounding Clinics)

• Monday-Friday | 8-Hour Shifts

• Availability Required Between 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

• No Nights. No Weekends.

We're seeking an experienced Floating Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support multiple clinic locations throughout Tampa, FL across multiple specialties . This role is ideal for adaptable, patient-focused professionals who enjoy variety, teamwork, and making an immediate impact across different care teams.

This is a direct-hire, weekday-only opportunity with consistent full-time hours and excellent benefits starting Day One .

What You'll Do

• Float between assigned clinic locations across Tampa

• Greet and prepare patients for exams and procedures with professionalism and compassion

• Collect and document vital signs, patient intake, and clinical information in Epic EMR

• Assist providers during exams, procedures, and treatments across multiple specialties

• Administer medications and injections as ordered (if certified)

• Perform EKGs, urinalysis, phlebotomy, and specimen collection

• Assist with front-office duties including scheduling, insurance verification, and patient check-in/out as needed

• Maintain clean, safe, and organized exam rooms and equipment

• Ensure compliance with OSHA, AHMG, and clinical regulations

• Communicate effectively with patients and multidisciplinary care teams

• Uphold the organization's mission and values in every patient interaction

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Graduate of a CAAHEP or ABHES-accredited Medical Assistant program

• Current MA certification (AAMA, AMCA, AMT, NAHP, NCCT, or NHA)

• Current CPR certification

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant

• Experience supporting multiple specialties preferred

• Epic EMR experience (required)

• Ability and willingness to float between Tampa-area clinics

• Availability to work 8-hour shifts between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM, Monday-Friday

• Bilingual Spanish preferred

• Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills

• Ability to thrive in fast-paced clinical settings
