Locums - Kansas City, Missouri Cardiac Anesthesiology Opportunity

Clinical Role

Start Date: October 26, 2026
Contract Length: 3 months, ongoing
Hospital-based Cardiac Anesthesiology coverage
Full-time Monday-Friday coverage with night and weekend call needs
Level I trauma setting
100% medical direction of CRNAs, AAs, and residents
Providers must be comfortable with complex cardiac and aortic surgery and reading TEE

Assignment Details

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 am-5:00 pm
Weeknight Call: Monday-Thursday, 5:00 pm-7:00 am
Weekend Call: Friday 5:00 pm-Monday 7:00 am
Providers may be considered for daytime coverage, call coverage, or both
Call Coverage: Cardiac and vascular cases
Patient Population: All ages
Procedures/Cases: Open heart, cardiac, vascular, and liver cases
Support: Residents, AAs, and CRNAs
Hospital Size: Approximately 650 beds
EMR: Epic
Experience: Minimum 1+ years of experience
Cardiac fellowship preferred; candidates without fellowship must have extensive cardiac experience of 5+ years
Requirements: Board Certification, active Missouri license, DEA, BLS, and ACLS
IMLC candidates may be considered if Missouri licensure is already in process; active Missouri license highly preferred
Credentialing: Approximately 45-60 days
