Locums Hematology Oncology Physician in Waterloo, Iowa - Two Weeks Monthly, Light Call

Build your schedule around two weeks of monthly coverage with a primarily clinic-based adult hematology and oncology workload and limited inpatient responsibilities.

Highlights

• Two weeks of coverage per month
• Hospitalists handle admissions

Practice & Cases

• Adult hematology and oncology with 16 to 20 clinic patients per day
• Consults, follow-up care, and oversight of antineoplastic therapy
• Bone marrow biopsies, phlebotomies, IV IgG, and iron therapy
• Nursing, lab, social work, referral, triage, and dietitian resources

Schedule

• Typically Monday through Thursday
• 8 hour daytime shifts
• Potential phone-only call one week and one weekend per month

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Must be Board Certified in Hematology and Oncology
• Active Iowa license or active IMLC LOQ required
• BLS and DEA required
