Mammography TechnologistMammography TechnologistWork Hours: Monday-Friday 8 am - 4:30 pmHourly Rate: $45.00 to $55.00 commensurate with experienceWhat You Can Expect:Advanced Technology & Equipment:New Hologic Mammography Towers for both screening, diagnostics, and biopsiesEmployee Perks & Amenities:Free Gym Access with locker rooms and showers, so you can stay refreshedPaid Parking to make your commute more convenientModern Employee Kitchen/Break Area for relaxing and recharging during your workdayOn-Site Secured Bike Storage to encourage an eco-friendly commuteGreat Central Location, conveniently located near public transportation optionsCommuter Benefits available for public transportation to help reduce your travel costsHere is what you will need:Current ARRT in Mammography certification or eligible to take advanced level exam with documentation of clinical experience.Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic TechnologyContinuing Education: MQSA/FDA- 15 CEU's every 3 years, 200-documented case numbers every 2 years.Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferred.A Day in the Life of a Mammography Technologist:Provide services and support for the following areas:Prepares for and assists the Radiologist in the completion of intricate mammography examinations, including breast biopsies.Produce high-quality films for the radiologist to evaluate.Effectively communicate to patients the procedures and educate women about the role of regular mammography in preventative breast health.Maintain patient-first focus at all times and exhibit outstanding customer service skills.Ability to effectively communicate on an individual and small group basis to doctors, patients, and other employees.Consistently practice excellent mammography positioning and exposure technique.Complete appropriate documentation.Perform quality control functions related to mammography.Assist in the compilation and maintenance of statistical data.Promote privacy and comfort for the patient.Why Us?A Great Place to Work for multiple years running!Offers a comprehensive benefits plan including 401(k), medical, dental, vision, HSA, flex spending, life, and disability, PTO and paid holidays, as well as other unique benefits.*Sign-On Bonus is applicable to current qualified Mammography Technologists (ARRT (M)).
