Job Description
Job Title: Physical Therapist


Profession: Physical Therapist

Shift: Day Shift


Hours per Shift: 8 hours (M - F, 8am - 5pm or 8am - 4:30pm)


Experience: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree required if licensed on or after January 2016; two years' Physical Therapy experience preferred


License: Physical Therapy licensure in state of practice required


Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent certification required


Must-Have: Commitment to safety and wellbeing of patients and associates


Description:


The role involves planning and conducting treatment programs designed to restore and improve physical, social, and mental functions.


The Physical Therapist serves as a co-leader in an interdisciplinary approach to patient groups.


Evaluation of patients is an essential function to ensure quality standards are met.


Individualized treatment plans are established using appropriate clinical techniques and tools.


Therapy interventions are provided using established treatment protocols and techniques.


Individualized care and discharge plans are created and communicated to the appropriate parties.


Comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation must be completed within established deadlines.


The Physical Therapist also supervises assigned assistants and performs other job-related duties as assigned.


Commitment to receiving all required vaccinations as a condition of employment is essential.
