Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a temporary assignment with an immediate start. The role involves performing advanced MRI procedures in a busy, community-based hospital setting, with emphasis on patient care, technical accuracy, and operational flexibility.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Conduct high-quality MRI scans using GE Optima 450w and other MRI equipment, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with radiology team members to coordinate patient scheduling and procedure flow.
  
  
• 
  Maintain accurate documentation of procedures within the Epic electronic health record system.
  
  
• 
  Adjust imaging protocols based on patient needs and technical requirements, including contrast injections.
  
  
• 
  Provide exceptional patient care, including positioning, explanations, and addressing patient concerns during scans.
  
  
• 
  Participate in on-call rotations, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to support continuous coverage.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  ARRT MRI certification required.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 2 years of clinical MRI experience in a teaching facility.
  
  
• 
  Proven proficiency with EPIC EMR system within the last 2 years.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrated ability to operate wide-bore MRI and perform contrast injections.
  
  
• 
  Reliable transportation and flexibility to work variable shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  
  
• 
  Ability to follow safety and infection control standards.
