Entry Level Recruitment & Sales Consultant

Job Description

root/edge | Hybrid Sales & Recruitment Opportunity in Denver

We're hiring entry-level recruitment and sales consultants, recent graduates and Class of 2027 welcome to apply!

root/edge exists to connect people to energize tomorrow. We run technical searches in energy transition, power infrastructure, grid modernization, and digital infrastructure. We work a niche market that most firms don't understand well enough to work: interconnection, BESS, transmission, substations, data center power. Our clients are committed. They come back because we find people other firms can't, and because we build lasting partnerships instead of one-off placements.

Founded and led by two partners with 40+ years of combined sector expertise, root/edge is a boutique built on a small set of principles: people first, integrity always, sustainable growth over short-term wins, and decisions backed by real data and deep market expertise.

What you'll do

\n
• You'll work as a recruitment consultant and sales consultant in the talent space by sourcing and approaching candidates, building relationships, and placing candidates with clients who trust us to deliver.
\n
• Junior consultants get direct mentorship from a team that has built searches in this market for years. You're taught how to qualify a search properly, how to read a candidate's motivation, and how to run a process.
\n

Who we're looking for

\n
• Someone who's curious about a technical market and willing to learn it. You don't need an engineering background, but you need to be willing to understand what a BESS interconnection timeline actually means before you can sell a candidate on a role.
\n
• Recent graduates and Class of 2027 candidates welcome as no prior recruitment or sales experience required.
\n

What root/edge offers

\n
• Hybrid work out of Denver
\n
• Competitive base and commission structure
\n
• Comprehensive benefits including healthcare, dental, and vision
