Job Description Help customers discover jewelry they’ll fall in love with by tuning into their style, wants, and wishlist moments. Show off product knowledge like a pro — highlighting features, craftsmanship, and sparkle-worthy details to create exciting sales opportunities. Think fast, listen closely, and confidently turn questions or objections into “yes, I need this” moments. Build lasting client relationships beyond the first purchase through thoughtful follow‑ups via phone, email, and handwritten notes. Grow and nurture a loyal client book that keeps customers coming back for their next treasure. Keep clients in the loop on new arrivals, promotions, trunk shows, and all the exciting happenings at Ylang 23. Curate and maintain a stylish personal Ylang 23 Instagram presence while contributing to the company’s social sparkle. Connect within the community and social scene to meet new clients and expand the Ylang 23 family. Customer Service Bring a sales‑minded, goal‑crushing attitude to every customer interaction. Be warm, upbeat, and genuinely excited to connect with people — never afraid to start the conversation and help customers find exactly what they’re looking for. Communicate clearly and confidently, whether in person, over email, or on the phone. Stay informed about all things jewelry and keep learning as new collections arrive. Respond to customer questions quickly and thoughtfully to keep the experience easy, fun, and seamless. Help tag new jewelry and merchandise sales floor; cases and windows. Replenish merchandise often to ensure that sold pieces are replaced by back stock. Have a good grasp on where back stock is located to present appropriate pieces to customers in‑store. Procedure Understand and follows company policies and procedures. Attend sales team and company‑wide meetings. Assist with 2x / year inventory and monthly cycle counts in-store. Helps to maintain a beautiful shopping space for customers. Qualifications Luxury retail experience is a plus — especially if you love fashion, jewelry, and creating memorable client experiences. Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast‑moving, team‑oriented environment. A sales‑driven mindset with a passion for customer service and building relationships. A collaborative attitude — someone who works well with others and brings good energy to the team. Organized, detail‑oriented, and able to juggle multiple things without missing a beat. Comfortable using Shopify, email, Word, and Excel to keep things running smoothly. Flexibility to work weekends and occasional evenings (for in‑store events) when needed.
