Conflict Analyst

The Direct Hire Division of Consilio LLC is partnering with a highly regarded law firm to identify a Conflicts Analyst. Location: New York, NY Schedule: Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote) We're seeking an experienced Conflicts Analyst to join a collaborative team supporting new business intake and firm-wide risk management. In this role, you'll evaluate potential conflicts of interest, conduct in-depth research, and partner with attorneys to ensure ethical compliance and a seamless onboarding process for new clients and matters. What You'll Do Review new business requests and analyze potential conflicts of interest. Prepare conflict reports and provide recommendations based on applicable Rules of Professional Conduct, client guidelines, and firm policies. Work closely with Intake Attorneys and legal teams to resolve conflicts and identify appropriate next steps. Research corporate entities, ownership structures, affiliates, and subsidiaries using online research tools. Process new matter requests through Intapp and maintain accurate records throughout the intake process. Communicate with attorneys and support staff to gather information needed for complete conflict reviews. What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree required. At least 3 years of professional experience, including a minimum of 1 year performing conflicts work within a law firm. Familiarity with legal ethics and conflict-of-interest principles, or the ability to develop that knowledge quickly. Experience using Intapp Open, Elite 3E, and iManage is highly preferred. Working knowledge of corporate research platforms such as Capital IQ and LexisNexis is a plus.
