Senior Estimator

About the Role We are seeking an experienced Construction Estimator who is confident working independently as well as with a team from start to finish — including quantity takeoffs, pricing, bid development, and presentation of proposals to owners and stakeholders. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, performs well in pre-bid walkthroughs, and is comfortable representing the company during interviews and proposal meetings. Key Responsibilities Assist in the full estimating process for assigned projects for the full lifecycle of preconstruction, from concept through final bid Interpret the construction plans, specifications Perform detailed quantity takeoffs, scope reviews, and cost analysis Review subcontractor and supplier proposals for scope alignment Prepare bid schedules, clarifications, and value engineering options Bid‑Day Management & Submission, direct bid day operations, clarifications, last minute scope gap closure and final risk/margin decisions Coordinate with operations and project management teams during handoff Maintain estimating database, historical pricing, and cost benchmarking Attend and Represent the Company Pre‑bid site visits & walkthroughs Owner presentations & interviews Develop and maintain client relationships Networking and building relationships with trade partners.
