Sales Development Representative, Nexis Solutions (SAAS and Data Sales)

**This is a hybrid role to our Dayton, Ohio office. This team reports to the office every Tuesday and Thursday.

About the Role

Our dynamic New Business team is expanding, and we are looking for a proactive Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help drive growth through outbound prospecting activities. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for potential clients, qualifying opportunities, building relationships with key decision makers, and partnering closely with Business Development Managers to create a strong pipeline of future business.

Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to prospective clients- high volume
• Manage outbound sales campaigns through strategic calling, emailing, and online research
• Leverage inbound marketing efforts to identify and qualify prospective customers
• Identify, build, and nurture relationships with key decision makers
• Develop and maintain a network of prospective clients
• Collaborate closely with sales teams to schedule qualified appointments
• Support Business Development Managers by creating opportunities for future sales conversations
• Maintain a consistent and proactive approach to prospect engagement

Requirements

• Experience engaging with prospective customers through phone, email, and digital channels
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to identify and qualify sales opportunities
• Comfortable conducting research to support prospecting initiatives
• Effective organizational and time management skills
• Ability to collaborate across sales teams and stakeholders
• Self-motivated approach with a focus on achieving goals (a go-getter mentality)
• Interest in developing a career in sales and business development

U.S. National Base Pay Range: $26,100 - $43,700. Total Target Cash Range: $40,200 - $67,100. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates. Pay mix between base and variable pay varies based on sales role; please discuss with the recruiter.
