Quality Manager

Freedom Finishing, a premium industrial powder coating and e-coating company, is looking for a Quality Manager to lead our quality systems and plant-level quality coordination. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who takes ownership of quality from the shop floor to the boardroom. As Quality Manager, you'll serve as our ISO 9001 Management Representative, owning the quality program that keeps our products defect-free and our customers satisfied. You'll have real authority - including the power to stop production or shipments when quality is on the line.

What You'll Do

• Manage and maintain our ISO 9001:2015 quality system, including documentation, internal audits, and continuous improvement
• Coordinate with Production and Plant Management to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence
• Oversee inspection, testing, calibration, and containment of nonconforming product
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions (including 8D processes) for customer complaints
• Build relationships with customers and vendors to maintain quality standards on both ends of the supply chain
• Prepare PPAP documentation and support new product launches
• Ensure quality concerns are addressed quickly and clearly across the organization

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of related experience (or an equivalent combination)
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standards; Internal Auditor certification
• Familiarity with root cause analysis and the 8D problem-solving process
• Knowledge of industrial paint processes is a big plus
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Comfort with data, math, and technical documentation
• Ability to work in a plant environment, including occasional exposure to fumes, chemicals, and varying temperatures, and to lift up to 55 lbs
