Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Long-Term Care Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year of Long-Term Care experience required. License: Must have a Client License. Certifications: BLS required. Must-Have: - Strong attendance and punctuality required. - Must be dependable with consistent attendance. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. - Organized and detail-oriented. - Excellent communication skills. - Personable and professional demeanor. - Team player with a positive attitude. Description: The position entails administering medications and treatments as prescribed. Nurses will perform medication passes accurately and safely. Monitoring and reporting changes in resident condition is essential. Timely and accurate documentation must be completed. Providing nursing care in accordance with facility policies is required. Supervision of CNAs on assigned units is expected. The nurse will work with a patient population including individuals with Alzheimer's and dementia. Every other weekend is required upon center request. Clinicians with recent specialty experience will be considered. The facility has a resident-to-nurse ratio of 1:18-20 in a 300 bed facility. Candidates should be flexible with scheduling needs. Compliance processes may take 1.5-2 weeks to complete. Modules must be started as soon as possible upon acceptance.
