This is a scheduled clinical hours only position to support extra volume. The assignment is available on an ongoing basis with multiple week-long blocks available throughout 2026 and 2027 (October 2026 through April 2027 and beyond).Key ResponsibilitiesEvaluate, diagnose, treat, and provide consultation to patients of all ages with benign and malignant disorders of the integumentary system, including:Diagnosis and treatment of skin cancers, moles, and other tumors of the skinManagement of contact dermatitis, allergic and non-allergic skin disorders, and skin manifestations of systemic and infectious diseasesManagement of cosmetic disorders of the skin, such as hair loss, scars, and age-related skin changesInterpretation of tissue sections, cellular scrapings, and smears of skin lesionsSimple excision and repair proceduresSkin and nail biopsiesDermatologic surgery, electrosurgery, and cryosurgery (no Mohs or cosmetic surgery)Schedule and Work EnvironmentThis position offers:Monday-Friday, days only15-20 minute appointment lengthTime blocked for lunchIn-clinic and virtual visitsNo holidaysNo call coverageApproximately 24-32 patient encounters per shiftEquipment and TechnologyProviders will have access to:DAX AIEssentia Health phoneWebcam and headsetDermLiteHyfrecatorsEpic EMR SystemCandidate RequirementsMD or DO with board certification in Dermatology (board eligible minimum) Dermatology fellowship required Valid medical license No specific certifications required (ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS not required) Hospital privileges not required Malpractice insurance provided by vendorCompensation and TermsRegular rate capped at $400/hour.
