We're hiring a licensed PTA to work in a hospital setting in Sitka, AK where you will support patients recovering from injuries, illnesses, or surgeries—helping them manage pain and regain movement—under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Minimum Requirements:

• Associate's degree in physical therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active Alaska PTA license required to start the position.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience delivering PTA services in inpatient and outpatient hospital settings preferred.
• Experience working with a broad age range, including newborn to geriatric populations.
• Ability to perform home assessments and provide home exercise programs and patient/family education.
• Capability to document patient encounters and maintain compliance with hospital policies, Medicare/Medicaid, and third-party billing requirements.
• Willingness to participate in occasional multi-day travel to remote locations by boat or small plane and to work in variable weather conditions.
• Comfort working collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams and supervising support staff, students, or interns as a lead person.
