CNC Machinist

Overview Trillium Staffing is currently seeking a CNC Machinist for a Direct Hire CNC Machinist opportunity with a growing heavy fabrication manufacturer in the Sturgeon Bay area. This CNC Machinist role focuses on setting up and operating horizontal boring mills to produce precision-machined components to engineered specifications. Responsibilities Set up and operate horizontal boring mills to machine metal components Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and cutting parameters for each job Perform tool changes and make machine adjustments to maintain precision Ensure compliance with all safety standards and procedures Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve efficiency and output Support additional duties as assigned Benefits 4-day work week with shift differential Health, dental, vision, and life insurance (effective first of the month after hire) 401(k) with company match after 30 days Paid vacation and holidays available upon hire HSA with employer contribution Semi-annual incentive bonus program Training and advancement opportunities Overtime available Schedule & Compensation Schedule is 2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday | 3:30PM–2:00AM (3-Day Weekend). Pay: $26–$35/hour. Qualifications Technical degree in CNC machining or related field preferred Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Ability to use precision measuring tools and convert measurements into decimals Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted Trillium has been recruiting and placing professionals for over 30 years.
