Our spectrum of home-based services now includes Skilled Home Health Care, Palliative Care, Adult Hospice Care and Pediatric Care. The Volunteer Coordinator provides support to agencies by means of volunteer recruitment, supervision, and documentation as identified by the Volunteer Services Manager

Schedule:

Monday - Friday; 8:30am - 5:00pm

Location:

Larkspur Office with occasional travel to our Sonoma Office

By the Bay Health follows all CDPH vaccine requirements for healthcare personnel. Essential Duties & Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Coordinate recruitment, screening, orientation, training, and retention of volunteers in both clinical and nonclinical roles
• Select, assign, and remain an overall resource for volunteers
• Maintain volunteer personnel files according to BTBH policy and procedures
• Maintain current and updated volunteer records in the electronic database
• Provide education/orientation to agency staff regarding assignment, supervision, and maintaining effective working relationships with volunteers

Education/Experience:

• Associate degree (A.) or equivalent from two-year college; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum two years' experience coordinating volunteer programs preferred

Pay Range: $28.00 - $38.00 hourly
