Work Environment

Our rehabilitation facility is equipped with advanced technology, including therapeutic machines, an extensive range of rehabilitation tools, and a comfortable space designed for patient recovery. With flexible scheduling options, you can choose to work Monday through Friday, four ten-hour shifts, or tailor a part-time schedule that fits your current life commitments.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients receiving outpatient orthopedic care.
• Facilitate therapeutic interventions including active and passive exercises, muscle re-education, and gait training to aid patients in regaining functionality.
• Guide patients in activities of daily living (ADLs) and prosthetic training to enhance their independence.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and self-care techniques, ensuring a seamless transition to home-based care.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with team members, providing updates on patient progress and collaboratively adjusting care strategies as needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse group of patients recovering from various orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. Your efforts will significantly influence their recovery journeys, promoting mobility, strength, and overall well-being.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from an accredited college or university, or equivalent foreign qualification.
• A valid Physical Therapist license issued by the state of California.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic techniques and rehabilitation modalities.

Compensation and Benefits
