Micone Companies is growing, and we are looking for an experienced Staffing Manager who knows how to move fast, build relationships, solve problems, and get people to work.

This is a hands-on, 360-degree staffing role for someone who understands that successful recruiting doesn't stop when a candidate says yes. You will own the process from requisition and sourcing through screening, submission, onboarding, start, retention, client follow-up, and conversion.

You'll work directly with company leadership, our recruiting team, clients, candidates, and community partners to help drive the continued growth of Micone Companies.

We need someone who is comfortable switching gears quickly, managing multiple priorities, holding themselves accountable to results, and jumping in wherever needed to get the job done.

What You'll Own

Full-Cycle Staffing & Recruiting

• Manage the complete recruiting cycle from open requisition through candidate start and retention.

• Source, screen, interview, qualify, and present candidates across multiple industries.

• Recruit primarily for warehouse, manufacturing, production, administrative, skilled trades, and professional positions.

• Maintain an active pipeline of qualified, ready-to-work candidates.

• Write and manage job postings across job boards, social media, and other recruiting channels.

• Conduct thorough candidate interviews and prepare professional candidate submissions.

• Coordinate interviews, offers, onboarding, background checks, drug screenings, and start dates.

• Confirm candidate starts and conduct ongoing follow-up after placement.

• Maintain accurate candidate and job-order activity within our ATS/CRM.

Client & Account Management

• Serve as a trusted point of contact for assigned clients.

• Build strong relationships with hiring managers and client leadership.

• Conduct regular client check-ins and job-site visits.

• Understand each client's hiring needs, culture, requirements, and priorities.

• Gather feedback on submitted and placed candidates.

• Respond quickly to new orders, changes, attendance concerns, and urgent staffing needs.

• Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts.

Candidate Care & Retention

• Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.

• Conduct phone, text, and email follow-ups.

• Visit candidates at client job sites when appropriate.

• Address attendance, performance, scheduling, and assignment concerns quickly.

• Track assignment milestones and temp-to-hire conversion eligibility.

• Create a candidate experience that keeps great people connected to Micone.

Leadership & Team Collaboration

• Work directly with Micone leadership on staffing priorities, client needs, and company goals.

• Communicate recruiting activity, challenges, pipeline status, and placement progress.

• Collaborate with Staffing Coordinators, Recruiters, Sourcers, Operations, and Business Development.

• Help establish daily priorities based on open orders and client urgency.

• Participate in internal meetings, staffing strategy, and process improvement.

• Lead by example through urgency, professionalism, accountability, and follow-through.

Business Development & Community Involvement

• Identify potential business opportunities through existing relationships and community involvement.

• Attend networking events, job fairs, hiring events, chamber events, and community programs.

• Develop relationships with local workforce and business organizations.

• Represent Micone Companies professionally throughout Northern Nevada.

• Help strengthen Micone's reputation as a trusted staffing and recruiting partner.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 2–3 years of staffing or recruiting experience.

• 360-degree/full-cycle staffing experience strongly preferred.

• Staffing agency experience strongly preferred.

• Proven ability to manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously.

• Strong candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing skills.

• Experience communicating directly with clients and hiring managers.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong attention to detail.

• High sense of urgency and follow-through.

• Ability to change priorities quickly without losing accuracy.

• Comfortable making a high volume of calls and conducting consistent follow-up.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

• Experience with ATS/CRM systems.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

• Professional, dependable, accountable, and results-focused.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with leadership.

Preferred

• Experience with Crelate or a similar staffing ATS.

• Light industrial, warehouse, manufacturing, administrative, or skilled-trades staffing experience.

• Existing relationships within the Northern Nevada business community.

• Experience attending job fairs and networking events.

• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Work Environment

This is not a sit-behind-a-desk-all-day recruiting position.

Our Staffing Manager will spend time recruiting, talking with clients, visiting job sites, attending community events, supporting candidates, collaborating with leadership, and responding to changing staffing needs.

You need to be comfortable being both office-sharp and field-ready.
