This position is in southeast Houston near Hobby airport.

The Assembler located in Houston, Tx is responsible for assembling and testing products, and for troubleshooting and resolving issues.

• Assemble components of all Product Lines. Select correct tools and fixtures.

• Test assembled products. Troubleshoot and resolve problems associated with the assembly and testing of products.

• Ensure ability to: read blueprints; identify components; use pertinent hand tools and rework techniques; operate equipment, dimensioning and setting tolerances of mechanical parts and assemblies.

• Create labor records for all transactions.

• Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement.

• At SLB, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at/near the top of the range. The anticipated hourly rate for this position is $22-24 per hour.

Minimum Job Qualifications

• Certified MIG Welder

• High school diploma or GED

• Strong mechanical ability.

• Must be able to work independently.

• Must be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

• Must be able to work with the team in developing improved work processes for the department.

• Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship.
