Journeyman Plumber

Description:  

Liberty Mechanical is  seeking a   skilled and reliable  Journeyman Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience installing,  maintaining , and repairing plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship while following all safety and plumbing code requirements.

What  You’ll Do:  

• Supervise and lead a team of plumbers on installation, repair, and service project  
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily job site activities  
• Ensure all work  complies with applicable plumbing codes, safety regulations, and company standards  
• Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications  
• Troubleshoot complex plumbing issues and provide effective solutions  
• Coordinate materials, equipment, and subcontractors as needed  
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and customer satisfaction  
• Train and  mentor apprentice and junior plumbers  
• Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment  

What  You’ll Bring:  

• Minimum of 5 years of plumbing experience, with leadership or  foreman experience preferred  
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, installation methods, and local plumbing codes  
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills  
• Ability to read blueprints and manage multiple projects  
• Valid plumbing license or certification, as required by local regulations  
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
