EMT or Paramedic (PRN) at Medcor Inc Aurora, IL

EMT or Paramedic (PRN) Medcor is looking to hire an EMT or Paramedic on a PRN basis (as‑needed) to work as a Worksite Health Technician in our occupational health clinic located in Aurora, IL. The clinic operates Monday through Friday, 7am to 3pm and 3pm to 11pm. Multiple shifts are available. Compensation: $27.00–$30.00 per hour. Responsibilities Collaborate with Medcor’s medical and operational leadership, local medical providers, client staff, and key contacts within the client’s corporate structure. Provide patient care, ongoing workers’ compensation case management, return‑to‑work program facilitation, and treatment‑plan monitoring. Work closely with outside medical providers and maintain communication with client staff. Participate in daily operations at Medcor’s on‑site clinic. Provide superior customer service to Medcor’s client and employees. Assess and treat workplace injuries and illnesses according to Medcor’s Evidence‑Based Medicine protocols (Medcor Care Protocols). Build and maintain internal team relationships. Support onsite employee health and wellness efforts. Conduct pre‑employment and post‑offer screenings. Document care using state‑of‑the‑art EMR and other tools. Perform Physical Assessment Testing (PATs). Provide case management and medical charting. Maintain OSHA record‑keeping. Qualifications – Must Love what you do. Have valid licensure for the position you are applying for. Have current CPR/BLS certification. Have strong computer and technology skills, including EMR software. Be physically capable of lifting a 50‑lb emergency response bag. Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Have a positive and outgoing personality. Be willing to go above and beyond. Be passionate about people and providing the best care possible. Be able to have fun. Preferred – It’s a Plus If You are comfortable working in a worksite clinic environment. You have relevant occupational health experience. You have experience in emergency medicine or critical care.
