Duties You will coordinate the efforts of technical area experts who are available to assist with the technical aspects of the project and help address technical issues. You will conduct systems engineering with a direct role in test planning and test engineering. You will work on a diverse team engaged in Defense Acquisition program management activities. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band ( NH-02 ) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate: Serving as a technical expert for engineering concepts including, but not limited to: Conducting test planning and test engineering, requirements analysis, requirements verification, functional analysis, functional verification, synthesis, design verification, systems analysis, OR systems control and the development and delivery of associated systems with engineering artifacts. To be acceptable, the program must: (1) lead to a bachelor’s degree in a school of engineering with at least one program accredited by ABET; or (2) include differential and integral calculus and courses in five of seven areas of engineering science or physics as described in the original document. OR B. Combination of education and experience – college-level education, training, and/or technical experience that furnished (1) a thorough knowledge of the physical and mathematical sciences underlying engineering, and (2) a good understanding of the engineering sciences and techniques. Additional information The MCTIS-CV IPT is responsible for the lifecycle management of the combat vehicle instrumentation system; a vital component within the MCTIS allowing the integration of multiple combat vehicles platforms into force-on-force exercise. The following knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs) are highly desired but not required: Experience applying systems engineering processes to the acquisition of simulation, training, and range instrumentation systems. Experience authoring engineering documentation and participating in systems engineering technical reviews. Familiarity with the application of product line engineering principles.
