Commercial HVAC Service Technician

Position Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and mechanically skilled Service Technician to join our growing team. This role involves hands-on technical work in the field—performing startup, diagnostics, maintenance, and repair services for a wide range of HVAC systems including cooling towers, pumps, heat exchangers, VFDs, chillers, air handlers, and hydronic accessories. Key Responsibilities Perform field service tasks on HVAC systems with minimal supervision Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and controls-related issues Conduct preventative maintenance and system startups in accordance with factory standards Accurately document work performed, labor hours, and materials used Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and internal teams Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Identify and propose system improvements or retrofit opportunities to support customer success Qualifications 3-7 years of relevant experience in HVAC service or a related mechanical field Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals Familiarity with key product categories such as pumps, towers, chillers, VFDs, boilers, and air handlers Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Ability to lift 50+ lbs., climb ladders, and work in mechanical rooms or rooftops Valid driver's license with clean driving record Preferred Attributes Strong communication and interpersonal skills Team-first mindset aligned with our company values of helpfulness, ambition, and tenacity Desire for continuous learning and growth within the HVAC industry Experience working in customer-occupied facilities such as schools, hospitals, office buildings, and data centers Benefits / What We Offer Competitive compensation Health insurance and 401(k) Paid time off and holidays Training and professional development opportunities A supportive, mission-driven team culture #J-18808-Ljbffr
