Community Bank Seeking Part-Time Teller
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Provides quality customer service by greeting customers, processing deposit and loan transactions, and providing routine banking services for new and existing Customers, and solving routine customer problems efficiently. Experience is preferred.
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:
Provides exceptional customer service by greeting customers and assessing customer needs. Answers questions regarding Bank products and services with confidence.
Performs general teller duties, in compliance with operational regulations and security policies and procedures.
Balance cash, currency, and checks in cash drawer daily.
Makes appropriate customer referrals to appropriate Banking staff.
Effectively handles basic customer problems and inquiries as well as ensuring that resolution and follow-up are completed in an accurate, efficient manner.
Controls risk to the Bank. Adheres to prescribed security controls to protect the staff and facility against criminal activity and fraudulent operations.
Perform services such as ordering checks and debit cards.
Participates in the general appearance of the office.
Acquires and retains knowledge in applicable regulatory requirements.
Performs additional responsibilities as required.
HOURS:
The applicant must be able to work the rotational schedule not to exceed 30 hours a week. Schedule could vary within the office’s listed hours of operation. Addition hours may be required for training, meetings or afterhours events when applicable. This part-time position will also be expected to cover vacations.

The primary location for this position is 216 West Main Street, Salem, KY 42078.
