Maintenance Technician

Overview Seeking part-time maintenance. Mostly outdoor, landscaping projects. Water line and sewer line experience a plus. Compensation: $24 - $27 hourly Responsibilities Plan and implement preventative maintenance procedures to maximize equipment operations and minimize safety risks Examine building windows, walls, and doors for damage and perform repairs when needed Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and systems such as HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and electrical wiring to make sure they’re operating efficiently and make any needed repairs Manage other maintenance requests as required Record when any equipment was serviced and repairs were made Daily community clean-up Landscaping Lawn mowing/lawn care Trimming and edging grounds General cleanup of grounds Light electrical Light plumbing Light painting and carpentry Miscellaneous general maintenance duties as assigned by the community manager Physical demands include bending, pushing/pulling, lifting/carrying more than 50 lbs Develop and execute preventative maintenance measures to keep our equipment operating efficiently and prevent any safety risks Record when any equipment was serviced and repairs were made Qualifications Over 2 years of maintenance experience High school diploma/GED or equivalent Knowledge of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems Needs to have availability to respond on nights and weekends to on-call maintenance requests Stellar communication skills, attention to detail, and work ethic Knowledge of water meters, sewer systems Safe use of maintenance equipment, techniques, and procedures 2+ years of similar maintenance experience Available for occasional emergency repairs.
