Carousel of Learning has an immediate opening for a Preschool Teacher, 9 AM to 1 PM or 9 AM to 3 PM, to lead a classroom in a warm, supportive, and child-centered early learning environment. We are seeking a candidate with strong preschool experience, a positive and professional attitude, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
Responsibilities
- Lead a preschool classroom and maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment
- Plan and carry out age-appropriate activities and daily routines
- Support childrens learning, development, and social-emotional growth
- Communicate professionally with families and team members
- Keep the classroom clean, organized, and prepared for daily activities
- Follow all center policies, procedures, and health and safety requirements
Qualifications
- Associates degree in Early Childhood Education, or
- Bachelors degree preferred; certification not required
- Preschool classroom experience required
- Lead teacher experience preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills
