VP Engineering

Job Summary The Engineering VP will have innovation skills and the ability to think “outside the box”. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Lead the engineering team to: Develop new products rapidly and effectively Provide excellent technical support to our customers Support operations with engineering documentation and VA/VE efforts Development of efficient engineering processes and documentation procedures Encourage the growth and development of Engineering personnel Collaborate with all departments to drive increased profitability and customer satisfaction Work with the Product Managers and Divisional Management to develop project scope and priorities Personal Attributes Ethical and respectful, must be able to represent a company that is built on integrity. Personally driven with a track record of success. Effective time management skills managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Highly-analytical with the ability to innovate simple solutions resolving complex customer requirements. Strong interpersonal skills, ability to participate productively in a multi-disciplined team environment to satisfy project objectives. Experience Bachelor’s degree in engineering related field with 10+ years of product design experience in a manufacturing setting. BA in Electrical Engineering is preferred Design experience with electro/mechanical products and control systems. Proven track record of successful product development and new product launches.
