Sales Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY The Sales Coordinator is responsible for supporting all efforts within the sales department including product and vendor research, preparation of quotes, completion of orders and order tracking. This position ensures customer satisfaction and retention by following up with sales staff, vendors and customers on all open transactions. This position is also responsible for answering the phone as well as greeting walk-ins at the front desk. The Sales Coordinator/Receptionist reports directly to the Inside Sales Manager. This position works closely with department managers, outside sales staff, internal staff and vendors. This position works in office at W.D. Matthews headquarters in Auburn, Maine. This position requires extensive use of Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Navision. The Sales Coordinator/Receptionst requires a high level of computer ability and is required to have a minimum of two years of sales support and administrative experience. This position requires a high school diploma, but preferably and associates degree in business or related field. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES Work with customers both in person or via phone calls to assist with inquiries, order placement or making referrals to territory sales staff for follow up assistance Answering phones and greeting walk ins at the front desk Daily quoting of allied equipment for internal and external sales staff Work with outside sales staff to support requests for information, quotes, order status, etc. Continual development of product knowledge and understanding to support sales efforts Identify and work with management to resolve customer concerns Work with team to achieve sales goals ERP System Responsibilities: purchasing document processing, supporting documentation, customer invoicing document processing and monthly reconciliation Work closely with logistics to ensure timely delivery of units Assist in sales department as needed with marketing/promotional items preparing, distributing and inventory count Research and develop an understanding of specific product attributes and commonly sold items Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS Experience and Skill Requirements: At least two years of sales support and administrative experience Strong customer service skills, experience working directly with customers and vendors Strong communication, writing and arithmetic skills Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Strong computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel Education Requirements: Highschool diploma or GED Associates degree in business or related field preferred Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $22.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee assistance program Employee discount Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Paid training Vision insurance Work Location: In person #J-18808-Ljbffr
