You will leverage your technical expertise, leadership skills, and agile management experience to guide the team towards achieving ambitious goals and contributing to the overall success of the organization.Key Responsibilities:Lead a team of software engineers, fostering a positive, collaborative, and high-performing environmentGuide the creation of new, innovative and highly engaging consumer focused interactive experiencesManage the entire software development lifecycle, from project planning to deployment and maintenanceCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into web application features and functionalityFoster a culture of continuous learning and growth, while continuing to coach and mentor the engineering teamManage the engineering team to adhere to standard software development lifecycle and maintain high coding standardsStay current with the latest technology innovations, tools, and best practicesRequirements:Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience6+ years of software development experience in a management roleExperience as a Software Development Manager or similar leadership role5+ years of experience in web application development or native application or equivalent experience, with a focus on effective interactive UIs and UX design principlesProven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team of developers to deliver committed goalsExperience in delivering across multiple platforms simultaneouslyExperience developing Cloud based or native desktop applicationsKnowledge of multiple development frameworks and tools across Mac, Windows, and LinuxExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersStrong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a strong attention to detailSinclair is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and a drug free workplace. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
