Cardiac Cath Lab - Travel Registered Nurse

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - OSF HealthCare and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - OSF HealthCare.

Additional Details:

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.

Required Skills/Experience: Ability to read strips. Occasional drip titration.

Unit Details: Common diagnoses/types of patients include STEMI, NSTEMI, HF, congenital, TAVR, MitraClip, and peripheral cases. Cath lab is separate from IR and EP. Uses GE and Philips monitors and McKesson. Call teams are 4-person; regular cases are 3-person teams (1 RN and 2 RTR).

Shift & Scheduling: May work past the scheduled shift to complete cases if emergent cases come up. Weeknight call: 6-8 call shifts/month, including primary call and backup call. Weekend call: Every 6-7 full weekend, starts Friday at 5:30pm and ends 0600 am on Monday morning. Additional weekend backup/circulator shifts are 24 hour shifts and happen on average once/month. Holiday call: Easter backup call shift.

Floating Requirements: Does not typically float, but if experienced in IR could share.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

1 reference required from within the last 3 years

Driver’s license required for submission
