Automotive Account Executive

Automotive Account Executive – Detroit, MI What You’ll Do: Learn the ins and outs of our Broadcast + Digital Marketing Products. Identify and develop new business opportunities through in-person meetings with clients and research. Cultivate existing business using our full suite of products. Collaborate with internal partners to drive revenue. Create effective marketing campaigns. Use storytelling skills to deliver compelling sales presentations fueled by data. What You’ll Need: Self‑motivated go‑getter attitude. Excellent relationship‑building and problem‑solving skills. Persuasive communication. Goal‑oriented, expert negotiator, proactive. Ability to plan and multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment. Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, High School Diploma (College Degree preferred). Skillful use of Salesforce, Microsoft Office, and social networking platforms. Strong problem‑solving skills. Digital/Media Sales experience a plus. Organizational and prioritization skills. Experience managing complex, multi‑platform campaigns; analytics experience; iHeart and/or audio advertising background; and well‑connected in the market is a plus. What You’ll Bring: Respect for others and a strong belief that others should do this in return. General understanding of business principles and sales environment. Interest in developing knowledge of business operations and sales concepts and techniques. Individual accountability and understanding of when to seek guidance. Skills managing assigned projects to completion. Ability to resolve problems using established guidelines and professional judgment. Ability to communicate information about iHeart products in a digestible manner and to apply active listening skills to validate understanding of customer needs. Goal orientation and the ability to focus and prioritize. Passionate pursuit of new auto relationships for the company. Willingness to learn, present and sell proprietary auto products, broadcast, digital, podcast, and sponsorships. Create custom campaigns based on KPI, budget, demo, timeframe. Understanding of importance of building and maintaining relationships. Being in client locations majority of work days/hours. Benefits: Uncapped commission.
