Home Equity Processor

We are seeking a Home Equity Processor to join a collaborative lending team and assist members through the home equity loan process from application to closing.This role is ideal for someone with full-cycle processing experience who enjoys working directly with customers, managing loan files, and ensuring a smooth lending experience.What You'll DoProcess home equity loan applications from start to finish.Manage a pipeline of approximately 25-30 loan files once fully trained.Review income and supporting documentation, including pay stubs and financial records.Order appraisals, flood certifications, and other required documentation.Gather payoff information and verify mortgage-related details.Review mortgagee clauses and ensure all documentation is accurate and complete.Prepare files for underwriting review and approval.Coordinate and schedule closings.Maintain consistent communication with members throughout the loan process.Partner with teammates to ensure loan pipelines move efficiently and service levels remain high.Qualifications1-2+ years of full-cycle mortgage processing or home equity processing experience.Experience managing loan files from application through closing.Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.Excellent customer service and communication skills.Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and collaborate to meet department goals.Comfortable working in a process-driven environment with performance metrics.Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PMTraining & DevelopmentTwo weeks of side-by-side training focused on systems, processes, and workflow.Ongoing support from an experienced lending team.Daily, weekly, and monthly performance feedback to support success and growth.Work EnvironmentFully on-site position in a professional office setting.Newly renovated office space with collaborative work areas.Business casual dress code.Team-oriented culture focused on helping one another and providing excellent member service.Modern breakroom and cafeteria available onsite.Why Join This Opportunity?Strong reputation for employee growth and internal promotions.Comprehensive benefits package and competitive employee offerings.Performance-based raises and bonus opportunities.401(k) match.Supportive leadership team and collaborative culture.Potential for long-term career opportunities beyond the initial contract.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Troy, MI.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
