Manage a 100+ person organization to keep platforms, compute and tools available for engineering programsRole: Engineering Lab Manager:Team size: 100+ engineers, technicians and support staffKey Responsibilities• Site leadership: Set strategy, own budget and headcount, ensure EHS, security and compliance, and track KPIs such as availability, turnaround time, inventory accuracy and cost.• Oversee receiving, distribution, tracking, audits, replenishment and ordering of materials and equipment.• Lead setup and maintenance of the systems used for pre-silicon hardware development and testing.• Direct assembly, preparation, troubleshooting, repair and validation of components, boards and platforms.• Manage operating systems and software integration for hardware platforms, working seamlessly with pre-silicon and hardware teams.• People leadership: Lead, coach and develop 100+ staff through managers and team leads, and manage vendors and contractors against SLAs.Skill Requirements• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.• [10+] years in lab operations or hardware and systems engineering, including [5+] years leading large teams (100+).• Hands-on experience with platform bring-up, pre-silicon environments, and OS and software integration.Other RequirementsExperience with inventory and logistics systems, budgeting and vendor management.• Preferred: multi-site experience
