About the Role:

Carmelo's in Linthicum Heights, MD is looking for a passionate Pizza Cook to join our kitchen team! If you love crafting delicious, made-from-scratch pies and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you. Come be a part of a team that takes pride in every slice.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook pizzas and related menu items to order, following established recipes and quality standards

Stretch, top, and bake pizzas using proper techniques to ensure consistent results

Manage pizza oven temperatures and cooking times for optimal product quality

Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout each shift

Monitor ingredient levels and communicate supply needs to kitchen management

Work efficiently during high-volume rushes to meet ticket times and customer expectations

Assist with food prep, portioning, and stocking as needed

Occasionally work the cash register

Requirements:

Prior experience as a pizza cook, line cook, or in a similar kitchen role preferred

Familiarity with pizza dough handling, stretching, and oven operation

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-heat kitchen environment

Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and consistency

Reliable, punctual, and a team-oriented attitude

Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards (ServSafe certification a plus)
